Anna Marie Kennedy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Marie Kennedy, a beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, who left us too soon on March 21, 2023. Anna was born on November 8, 1959, in Hinsdale, New York. She moved to the South as a young woman, and loved and raised her girls here in Arkansas. She was retired and resided in Cabot, Arkansas at the time of her passing. She was the light of her families’ lives, and she had a heart of gold. Her absence is felt acutely by everyone that knew her lovely soul.

Anna was a devoted mother to her daughters Amber (Adam) Short, Autumn (Freddy) Horad, and Alex (Braden) Harris, and a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Zane, Mia, and Jackson. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and they will miss her dearly. Anna was someone that everyone just loved. Her smile contagious. Her kindness notorious. Her laughter infectious.

Anna is also survived by her siblings Cheryl Wilson, Cynthia Kennedy, Jim Kennedy, Dan Kennedy, Mary Billingy, Jim Seaward, Debbie Seaward, and Jeff Seaward as well as her cherished nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her beautiful sister Linda Kennedy, her best friend and mother Ethel Seaward, and her father Jim Seaward. We rest safe in the knowledge that their reunion in Heaven was a joyous one. Her family and friends will all miss her greatly, and they are comforted by the memories they have of their time together in this life.

Anna was known for her generous spirit, her sense of humor, her beautiful blue eyes, and most significantly her kind heart. She had a way of making everyone around her feel valued and loved, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her- especially her girls.

Although Anna is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. We take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with other loved ones who have passed before her, and that she is at peace. We have a testimony that Jesus Christ, himself, has already wrapped her in His loving embrace.

A memorial service for Anna Kennedy will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel, located at 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. Seating begins at 10:30 AM. Family and friends are welcome to attend and pay their respects to Anna and her loved ones.

Rest in peace, dear Anna. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
