Carolyn Bush

Carolyn “Carol” Jean Bush, 75 of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2015 surrounded by her family. Carol was born March 16, 1940 in Olney, Illinois to the late James Kelly and Mary Elizabeth Hull. Carol was retired from Maybelline/L’Oreal. Carol attended the Korean First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Wendell and Bill Hull of Olney, Illinois; two sisters, Helen Anderson and Carrie Hull of Olney, Illinois.

Carol is survived by her husband of 54 years, Toby Bush; one daughter, Angie Winstead (David) of Jacksonville; one son Jeffrey Bush and girlfriend Robbie of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Casey Winstead (Katie) of Benton and Madison Bratcher (Cody) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two great granddaughters, Tinsley Cate and Taylor Elizabeth.

Carol had many special nieces and nephews, one special brother-in-law, Don Anderson that she loved dearly. Carol loved spending time with her family, loved animals especially her cat Sugar. Carol’s giving spirit found her donating to several organizations. Carol was an avid Elvis fan having a room in her home for all of her Elvis memorabilia. Carol’s smile and giving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on August 4, 2015 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00pm.

Funeral service will be held on August 5, 2015 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills at 10:00am. Burial at Rest Hills Memorial Park to follow.
