Herbert Eugene Mitchell (Mitch) 85 of Jacksonville Arkansas was born July 7, 1929 in Jacksonville, Arkansas and went to be with the Lord March 7, 2015. Mitch attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He retired from AT&T with 38 year of service.
Mitch enjoyed working on the ranch, planting his garden and and visiting with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandparent. He is survived by his daughters Jo Dana Wood of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Gina Carol Hinkson of Cabot, Arkansas, Cheryl Ann Head of North Little Rock, Arkansas and his son Steven Eugene Mitchell of Heber Springs, Arkansas along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Jo Mitchell, son, Michael Allen Mitchell, father, Hebert E. Mitchell, mother, Sarah A. Mitchell, sisters Juanita Sparks and Ruby J Collins and brothers Benjamin Mitchell and Aubrey Lee Mitchell.
Mitch will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.
