James Grable Jr.

He was the son of the late James E. Grable Sr. and Wanda Grable. James was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Grable of North Little Rock and Ricky Grable of Sherwood. He is survived by his sisters Debbie Dumeny (Joey) of Cabot and Dianne Erwin (Keith) of Sherwood.

James was a proud father to his children: James Grable III, Jason Grable, Joseph Grable, Jessica Grable, and Roy Grable. He was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy, along with countless nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

For over 26 years, James worked as a foreman at Virginia Sprinkler Company (VSC), where he was known as a dedicated worker and a loyal friend. He was loved not only by his family but also by his bar family and coworkers, who will remember him for his hard work, his kindness, and his unwavering loyalty to those he cared about.

James touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life for James will be held Friday, July 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
