He was born November 22, 1937, in Wynne, Arkansas, to Charley and Irene Hamrick.
Mr. Hamrick was an Air Force Veteran. Following his service with the Air Force he moved to California and began working for General Motors. He met his wife Katherine and they were married for nearly 55 years. They moved to back to Cabot in 1989.
His favorite time of the year was Christmas. He would decorate his house with lights and even made the Cabot newspaper a couple of years for the best-decorated yard in Cabot. He was proud and worked hard in anything and everything he did.
He is survived by his wife Katherine, a son, James, a daughter Linda and husband Jim, three grandchildren, April, Amy, and Amber, and four great-grandchildren. He was very much loved in his 82 years of life and he will honestly be missed.
Graveside services will be Friday, January 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, with Chaplain Charles Hawkins officiating.
