Odell Freeman

Odell Freeman passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of the 8th of July, 2021, at her home in Sherwood. She is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Willie, brothers Alton and Eugene, sisters Maybelle, Brenda, and Mary, and by her grandson Adam. She is survived by her sisters Wilma, Mae, and Margie.

A beloved wife, married to her husband Rodney for 58 years, she was also the caring mother of Ann and Connie, the grandmother of Adam, Aaron, Ashley, and Eric, and the great-grandmother of Sebastian, Oliver, Caleb, Lilith and Ava. She was an avid reader, gardener, and matriarch to our family, who was blessed with a friendly and outgoing personality which uplifted everyone around her.

Her loving spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of her friends and family, forever.

Visitation will be held at Rest Hills Chapel in Sherwood, on Monday the 12th of July, from 5-7pm, and a graveside service will be held at Rest Hills Cemetery in Sherwood, on Tuesday the 13th, at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that any donations be gifted to the Arkansas Heart Association.
