

Oscar served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1963. He then began his career in the tire business, working for Security Tire until 1974. Afterward, he started his own tire company in Fort Smith, AR, until 1992. In the early 1990's he founded PickUp Truck Accessory Warehouse, which he operated until his retirement in 2006.
Through his vision, determination and dedication, he built more than businesses - he built a legacy rooted in family, hard work and service to our community. Oscar was a visionary entrepreneur, a devoted father, and a man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and integrity. His Spirit lives on in the company he built and in the countless lives he impacted along the way.
Oscar was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest son, Eddie.
He is survived by his sister Dorothy Jean Jones of Olive Branch, MS; his daughter Alisa Allman (Randy); his son, Chris Hamlett; four grandchildren, Dustin Hamlett (Michelle), Braden Allman (Chelsea), Brianna Allman, and Addison Hamlett; six great grandchildren, and the loving mother of his children and dear friend, Linda Hamlett.
A graveside service for Oscar will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
