Reginald Foster LaFountaine, age 75, passed away on April 4, 2026. Born May 8, 1950, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Reginald was the son of Ernest LaFountaine and Ernie Lee Foster LaFountaine. A hard-working, loyal, and selfless man, he built a life centered on devotion to family, steady faith, and the simple joys that brought him peace and purpose. In his marriage of 52 years to Joyce Ann, they lived in Vilonia, Arkansas, and attended First Baptist Church in Vilonia. Reginald found both recreation and contentment outdoors—especially with deer hunting and fishing, and in the familiar satisfaction of being outside, burning limbs, trash, or anything that would burn and wasn’t needed anymore. From the beginning, these everyday moments reflected the practical, steadfast spirit that so many came to rely on and admire.
Reginald is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter-in-law, Christine Massey.
Reginald leaves behind to cherish his legacy, his loving wife, Joyce Ann Pickrell LaFountaine; four sons, Reggie (Sharon) LaFountaine, Joe LaFountaine, Tim Massey, and Christopher (Stephanie) LaFountaine; grandchilldren, Danica LaFountaine, Gabriel LaFountaine, Landon LaFountaine, Kayden LaFountaine, and Rachel LaFountaine; one sister, Myra Hall; and one brother Randy La Fountaine.
Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117, US, on April 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
