Shannon Kay Priest passed away on February 16, 2016. She was born on October 20, 1959 to the late Bob and Martha Priest. Shannon was a member of First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. She enjoyed being a member of the choir there and was known for her powerful soprano voice. She very much enjoyed being a mother and grandmother “MoMo” to her girls and grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Rodney Priest. Shannon is survived by her brother, David Priest (Nancy); aunt and uncle, Jack and Mary Jo Tew; two daughters, Rachel Long and Audrey Freeman (Curtis); four grandbabies, David Freeman, Skylar Long, Spencer Long, and Sophie Long; two nephews, Adam and Alex Priest. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10:00am at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
