Susan Ethel Finister, 75, of Little Rock and Batesville, Arkansas passed away November 7, 2015. She was born October 26, 1940 in Berryville, Arkansas to the late Wallace and Grace Lytle. She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, sister, and incredibly special grandma. She had a tremendous light and spirit and was loved by all who knew her. Susan had a professional career in mortgage lending and worked at various institutions and ended her career at HUD in 9/30/2010. The Mortgage Bankers Association of Arkansas awarded Susan with the Outstanding Service Award in 2010 for her years of service. Susan is survived by her husband of 58 years, L. D. Finister; daughters: Lynne Finister and Lona Panyard (Nick); grandsons: Jack and Ryan Panyard; and siblings; Michael Lytle (Maggie), Joyce Munden (Wally), and Deborah Stroud (Bob). She will be missed by her family and friends, especially her husband. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 12 - 2:00 p.m. preceding the service at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, with the burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
