William Calvin Glover Jr.

William Calvin (Dub) Glover, Jr. died at age 72, Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born July 2, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dub was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Higgins Glover, father William Calvin Glover, and mother Wilma Latta Glover Smith. He is survived by his son Lance Glover and wife Jessie of Rogers; son Derek Glover of Jacksonville; grandsons William Calvin Glover III and Charlie Asher Glover of Rogers; sister Ann Teeter and husband Joe of Little Rock; niece Kathy Gladden and husband Joel; nephew Jody Teeter and wife Carolyn; one mother-in-law Nellie Higgins of Palestine; sister-in-law Daphne Pike and husband Terry; sister-in-law Doris Shafer and husband Billy; sister-in-law Denelda Michaelis and husband Gary; nephew T.J. Pike and wife Jill; niece Tabitha Gibbs and husband Ricky; niece Candice Franks and husband Burge; nephew Joe Shafer and wife Allison; niece Tiffany Michaelis and husband Chucky, and 16 great nieces and nephews. He served as a United States Marine and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also a retired member of the North Little Rock Police Department. He was most proud of his two sons, Lance and Derek and later his grandsons, William and Charlie. Visitation services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 6:00pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home located at 7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
