I just found out today, his B-day, that Alan passed.  I thought he would outlive us all!  My heart is heavy.... RIP, Eleanora!  (He would have laughed at the mention of  "Eleanora.")

Alan was our neighbor and friend for over 42 years. He was a very good person and a devoted and loving son to Joyce and Sol.
He loved to chat and was very skilled in the art of conversation; you can definitely say he was born with the “gift of gab”. 
He will be missed by all of us who were lucky enough to call him a friend.

Alan was an interesting and unique person. We were neighbors and friends since we were kids. In recent years Alan was more like a brother to me and a son to my mother. We will miss him every day.

I am so sorry that the world lost such a great man! May his memory be a blessing.

I will miss my conversations with Cousin Alan as they were always upbeat and amusing. He knew just how to tell a story that was interesting and at the same time  entertaining.  He had a generosity of spirit that will be missed by all who knew him. To quote Billy Joel…Only the good die young…Rest in peace  Cousin Al, kiddies Pal, our name for him.

I lived 3 doors down the street from Alan’s childhood home in Miami (20th st.)  I also knew his brother Peter was was my age and passed way too young.  Although Alan was 4 years older than I…I still remember him coming outside down the block and Telling us some great stories.    Too young to go.  May he rest in peace.

I've known Alan since Elementary School; 60+ years. We lost touch for most of our lives, but reconnected in the last year.
   He was the kindest, sweetest gentleman I've had the pleasure of knowing. A true joy to be around. I will miss our recently renewed friendship. RIP dear man.

I lived down the street from Alan and his family.  Our parents were very good friends and we were together a lot as kids.  He and I used to sit on his front porch and talk for what seemed like hours.  We had a special bond growing up.  I last saw him and his brother at their childhood home when their mom passed away.  We kept in touch through facebook.  He was a warm, caring and a very special human. May he rest in peace.  We will all miss him.

In Remembrance...
Shocked and saddened....I met Alan when I was 19 , I'm now 61, yet it seems like only yesterday. He always kept me laughing, smiling and always had a positive and uplifting effect on me. I had not seen him in person since about 2002 when I was living in Hollywood, FL. Memories: Oh the Halloween costumes he would come up with , always fantastic. In fact, Alan was at the same Halloween party I was at when I met my long term partner/husband 23 years ago. We had kept in contact through Facebook in the later years, occasionally touching base but usually just following each others life through social media in virtual time. I will miss him dearly, but Alan will never be gone - thankfully, he left a hand print on my heart that has not, and will not, ever fade. Peace be you Alan. 💋
