He is survived by his wife, Svetlana Lerir Shcherbo, his daughter, Irina Korinenko (Vladimir), his sisters, Lucy Shcherbo and Bluma Schtivelman, his brother, Alex Gimeynerman, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughter, Valery Bryzhachenko.

A funeral service will be held at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels, located at 17250 W. Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33160, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
