

Loving husband, father, and grandfather, Nate passed away October 5th with his extended family at his side. Nate made the Miami area his home for over 65 years, graduating the University of Miami, after which he served 2 years in the military, then joined the family agricultural business. His love for his work was only surpassed by his passion for people. No one worked for Nate; they worked with him.

Nate was the consummate family man and friend; his loyalty and generosity to them and to many philanthropic causes legendary. He helped found the Diabetes Research Institute and worked to improve health care through the University of Miami Hospitals.
Nate was survived by his wife Annie; children Elizabeth, Tracey, and Jack; grandchildren Christopher, Kelly, Griffin, Dylan, Arabella, Lily, Nathan, and Theo. He was pre-deceased by beloved daughter Mary. Brother, Joe and sister, Flora are joined by many cousins and other extended family in mourning Nate’s passing.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, Oct. 8 at Riverside-Gordon Memorial Chapel, 20955 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, FL
