Samuel was a very very special person.


I met him in the mid 70s and worked with him for many years thereafter.

I most remember how he invited me into his family so that practically every time I went to Bogota he and Gala welcomed me to their home . I still fondly remember playing ping pong at their house.

Of course he might also have been one of the best lawyers I have ever met.  He was always calm, organized and prepared for every eventuality. Everyone who was ever in contact with him felt the same about him.

I was very sad to learn of his passing and am certain that if there is a heaven he will be resting there in peace.

Dear Gala and  family.
I just heard about the passing of Samuel .
Although we haven't communicated in decades I want to tell you how much Samuel meant to me .I still remember having Shabbat dinners in your home in Bogota with your family. They were always special. Samuel was an inspiration to me and helped me during my years with the Flo America  group. I learned many valuable lessons from Samuel that I carry to this day .His memories will always be carried in my heart. During this trying time I wish you all only  wonderful memories for such a special person.
