

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charlene Angela Brown, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who peacefully transitioned on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on August 2, 1957, in Kingston, Jamaica, Charlene was the cherished daughter of Fabian Anthony Coleman and Olive Gloria Tonsingh.
Charlene's early years were filled with dedication to education and personal growth. She completed her primary education and continued her studies with a passion for learning. This commitment to excellence shaped her future as she went on to become a successful Office Manager at a CPA firm, where she made a significant impact in her professional career.
In 1981, Charlene married the love of her life, Maurice Brown, with whom she shared over 40 years of love, companionship, and partnership. Together, they built a life full of joy, and Charlene's warmth and devotion as a wife, mother, and friend will never be forgotten.
Charlene made her home in Miami Gardens, Florida, where she was an active member of her community, always ready to lend a hand and offer support to those in need. Her kindness, generosity, and positive spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Charlene is survived by her loving husband, Maurice Brown, children Tissan Howard and Matthew Brown,sisters Maxine, Margaret, and Marie, and a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory forever. Her legacy of love, resilience, and grace will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Forever, they will remember the laughter she brought into their lives and the warmth of her presence during difficult times. Charlene's spirit will continue to inspire all who carry her memory, reminding them to love fiercely and live fully.
A fellowship for Charlene will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Southern Funeral Home, 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, Florida, 33181. A memorial service will follow from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with refreshments served from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
Charlene's family wishes to express their deep gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
