Daisy was born on December 13th, 1924 to Zimmer Black in Leslie, Georgia. She completed her education at Staley High School in Americus, Georgia. She met and married Joseph Crumbley Senior, her high school sweetheart, in 1943. They were married for seventy-six and a half years and they had nine beautiful children. Six boys, and Three girls: Mary Williams(Leroy), Joseph Jr., Diann, Ronald Sr. (Faye), Lawrence, Cheryl Jones (Curtis), and Grover. She is preceded in death by Clifford and Jeffery.
The couple was blessed with 14 wonderful grandchildren: Ronald Jr., Joanna, Gregory, Adrienne, William, Lisa, Cherylen, Terrence, Alan, David, Daniel, Andrea, Jonathan, and Alicia. God has also blessed Joseph Sr. and Daisy with 23 great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.
Daisy joined trinity CME Church in 1947. She served on the missionary and stewardess boards for many years. Daisy served her church community and family with grace and reverence for Our Lord and Savior. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
