Joseph Marra Henry

October 13th, 1929 – June 9th, 2020

Joseph Marra Henry leaves a legacy of love and faith with his lovely wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of those who knew him. Some of you know him as Boss Marra, some of you know him as Joe Henry and many of you know him as Fr. Marra (Brother Marra), Jehovah’s faithful servant. But, to all of those who were closest to him, knew him as Pop.

As a young man in Haiti, Joseph Henry began studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. That is when his love for Jehovah grew and soon he dedicated himself to serve Jehovah and preach the good news about the relief of human suffering that will come under the rule of God's Kingdom with Jesus Christ as it's benevolent appointed king. He tirelessly preached the good news full time up until his death.

Joseph has been married to his beloved wife, Virginia, since May 21, 1977. They enjoyed serving Jehovah together, laughing, dancing and being amongst friends and family. He opened up his home and heart to many freely to help those in need spiritually and in practical ways.

Pop is survived by his wife Virginia Henry. His daughters Enese, Ketty, Marie-Celeste and Sophia. His sons Tendres and Veronel. His grandchildren Adrian, Bryan, Crystal, Deidre, Farah, Gyvalia, Jamison, Jonathan, Jose, Jyneara, Keiontai, Markeshia, Natasha, Natalie, Nadine, Sadrack, Victoria and Virginia. His great-grandchildren Ja 'maree and Jeremiah.

Pop imparted not just the love of Jehovah but a fatherly love that is without restriction and through all of us he will live on.
