

Louis Juliot Btaille was born on August 15, 1948, in Masse, on the north side of Haiti, to Mr. Moliere Bataille and Acelia Laguerre Bataille. He was raised in a loving family alongside his siblings: Maurice Bataille, Francouer Bataille, Octavius Bataille, Kinston Bataille, Ludovic Bataille and Marthe Bataille. Over the years, he endured the loss of several siblings who preceded him in death. He leaves behind his surviving siblings: Kinston, Ludovic and Marthe Bataille.
From an early age, Louis Juliot embodied the values of dedication, resilience and faith. He worked extremely hard throughout his life to provide for his family, demonstrating unwavering commitment and responsibility. His work ethic was not just a duty; it was an expression of his love.
In 1975, he married the love of his life, Sonie Celeise. Their union was built on devotion, faith and enduring love. Together, they shared a blessed marriage and lasted until his passing on February 28, 2026, at 3:48pm. Their bond was beautiful example of lifelong commitment.
He was a proud and devoted father to five children: Jacky Bataille (firstborn, deceased), Jimmy Bataille, Wilmy Bataille, Sonniel Bataille and Judith Bataille. He loved his children deeply and led them with wisdom, patience and faith.
His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Wylisha Bataille, Jazmine Bataille, Prestyanna Bataille, Malik Bataille, Shernaille Bataille, Marcson Bataille, Sylan Bataille, Marjorie Bataille, Kiana Bataille, Kay Bataille and Oasiah Ocgenor. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren: Deion Juliot Charles and Tahir Aleem, who brought him great joy.
Louis was a faithful and active member of Adonai Baptist Church. He joyfully served in the Church choir and the men’s singing group. He loved attending every church activity and deeply cherished the preaching of the Gospel. His heart was firmly rooted in the Word of Christ, and he faithfully followed the spiritual guidance and leadership of Dr. Mariot Valcin.
Louis Juliot courageously battled cancer for a long period of time, through every trial, he kept the faith and stood firmly on God’s Word. His trust in the Lord never wavered. He was a righteous man who lived peacefully with all who knew him, His life reflected humility, kindness and steadfast devotion to God.
On February 28, 2026, he peacefully transitioned from his earthly life into eternal glory. While his absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is now resting in glory with the Master, he served so faithfully.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and all who were blessed to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, strength and integrity.
