Lucia Bellerive Nemours

Lucia was born on December 8, 1934, in Autrou Du North, Haiti to Horace Bellerive and Elionne Lamour. Lucia Nemours grew up in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and later moved to Canada, Boston Massachusetts, and later resided in Miami Florida. Lucia worked as a nurse and later retired as a homemaker for Dade County. Throughout her career, Lucia was known for her work ethics and accomplishments. Lucia was passionate about her family life. Her children were one of her biggest accomplishments. She also loved sewing, cooking, and enjoyed her life. She was a God-fearing woman. She loved her church, to which she became a deaconess. After her retirement she volunteered at hospitals and retirement homes. She will be remembered for her laughter, her kindness, her genorosity and strength.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Cleon Nemours, daughter Djeanane Nemours, Mother Elionne Lamour, Father Horace Bellerive, brothers David and Clement Lamour.

She is survived by her daughter Betina Nemours and granddaughter Ifetayo Diallo. Her sisters, Tiyote and Yole. Her brother Herve. Countless nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren.
