Rolsert Denoe, was the son of the late Roland Denoe and Tercia Gourdet. He was born on September 26, 1947, in L’Asile, Haiti. He was baptized at St Joseph Church in Haiti. He graduated high school from Ecole Rural De Sanayi. After high school, he attended Lycee Petion in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Shortly after graduating, he began helping his family harvest food before departing to the United States.
Rolsert lived part of his early life in Haiti where he enjoyed teaching his siblings and watching his favorite soccer team. In 1980 at the age of 33, his parents decided to have him migrate to Miami, Florida, for better opportunities. He started his first job at Miami Dade County Public Works during the day and at The Crab House in the evening. Rolsert retired from The Crab House, however he remained working at Miami Dade County Public Works for 30 years.
Rolsert loved helping his children with homework. Rolsert sought to instill a zest for life, commitment to family and friends, and the power of a smile in his children. Rolsert touched the lives of everyone he encountered, not only with his smile and generosity but also with a loving heart and a fantastic sense of humor. Rolsert impacted those that he was connected to by bringing happiness and laughter to their hearts. Rolsert opened his home and cared for friends and family. His door was never closed. He found pleasure in helping others.
He became a faithful member of Notre Dame Catholic Church and later joined Holy Family Catholic Church in Miami, Florida. He was a man with faith in God.
He was preceded in death by three siblings (Alourdes Denoe, Leonide Denoe, Oline Denoe).
Rolsert leaves behind four children (Rachelle Denoe, Robinson Denoe, Mindy Denoe, & Sophia Estrada), one son-in-law (Japhet Estrada), seven siblings (Nevil Denoy, Alina Cineus, Marlene Denoe, Blaise Denoe, Henri-Claude Denoe, Frantso Denoe, & Olgine Denoe), six grandchild, nieces, & nephews, and a host of extended family (The Denoe family as well as the Jeudi family, Cineus Family, Julot Family, Dodin family, Delices family, Hyppolite family, Lindor family, Nezier family, Morancy family, Printemps family, Babier family, Estrada family, Jacques family, Lovinsky family, & Delorme family) and friends who have been affected by this loss.
He will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather whose greatest passion was helping others. May his soul rest in peace.
