Roscoe Bradley Sr. was born in Monticello, Jefferson County, Florida on April 19th, 1922 to the late Henry Bradley and Mazara Burke. Roscoe Bradley was the youngest of 10 children, 3 girls and 7 boys, which all precede him in death.
Roscoe grew up in the Dills community where he learned at an early age how to farm. His formal education was limited due to the times and circumstances. However, years later Roscoe found employment with Jackson Health System for over 15 years. Later, he was also employed by The Miami Herald for over 25 years before retiring in 1986.
Roscoe met the love of his life, the late Thelma Louise Adams Bradley. They were married for 43 years before God called her to glory in 2004.
They shared two loving children Roscoe Bradley Jr. and Sadie Hartfield. Roscoe Sr. was a humble and loving man and because of his love for his family, they adopted their great granddaughter Latasha.
On December 5th, Our heavenly father had better plans for Roscoe and called him home to be with him. Roscoe Sr.'s job was well done and he was revealed as a humble servant before God's eyes.
Mourning his passing yet rejoicing in his loving memories are his son Roscoe Bradley Jr. (Lawanna), daughter Sadie Hartfield and a special great granddaughter Latasha McElwee (Tavaris). He leaves 8 grandchildren Justin Bradley, Vernon Hartfield, Darrell Hartfield (Regina), Keith Hartfield, Patrick Hartfield (Anna), Gary Hartfield, Deandre West and Kia Everett. 19 great grandchildren and 24 great-great grandchildren with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
