Rose Julienne Joseph, affectionately known as “Manjou,” our beloved family matriarch, was born in Jean-Rabel, Haiti, to her loving parents, the late Sitanie “Tata” Fable and Romain Joseph. From an early age, she was surrounded by the love of her sisters and nurtured in a home where faith, strength, and community were guiding principles. Inspired by her parents’ example, Rose Julienne Joseph grew to become a beacon of love, resilience, and devotion, firmly rooted in her personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
As a mother, Rose Julienne Joseph’s love for her children was deep and unwavering. She worked tirelessly and made countless sacrifices to provide them with a strong and meaningful quality of life. Her home was filled with love, laughter, support, and a steadfast faith in the Lord. In return, her children loved and cherished her profoundly.
Rose Julienne Joseph’s nurturing spirit extended far beyond her biological children. She opened her heart and her home to many, offering comfort, guidance, and unconditional love. To countless individuals, she was a source of encouragement and strength, creating a space where joy and support could flourish.
Rose Julienne Joseph’s devotion to Jesus Christ led her to become a proud and active member of her church. She first attended Lively Stone Church, where she faithfully served and grew in her walk with God. Later, she continued her spiritual journey at Worshipers’ House of Prayer, led by her beloved Pastor Emmanuel ZeZe, where she remained committed to praising and serving the Lord. She loved her church family dearly and could be found faithfully attending services, volunteering, and engaging in fellowship and community activities. Rose found great joy in praising, singing, and dancing in worship, and she perfectly embodied the love of Christ in her daily life. She was a proud and dedicated member of the Sisters’ Choir, lifting her voice in praise and worship with passion and grace. She never missed an opportunity to uplift others, share her testimony, and encourage people to become their best selves. Because of this, she was loved by many whose lives she touched.
Later in life, Rose Julienne Joseph embraced the role of grandmother with the same boundless love and dedication. She formed deep bonds with each of her grandchildren and took an active part in raising, guiding, and supporting them. She passed down her legacy of love, joy, support, and faith. Whether through phone calls, visits, or traveling long distances, she ensured that each grandchild always felt her presence and her unconditional love. She never missed a celebration in their lives and remained a constant source of pride and encouragement. Rose Julienne Joseph was also able to extend the same legacy of love, joy, support, and faith to her great-grandchildren.
Rose Julienne Joseph was a well-loved and respected woman. She made it her personal mission to reflect God’s love onto others. She had the ability to walk into any room and brighten someone’s day. Rose Joseph was a very fashionable lady; she always presented her best self, and you would never catch her with even one hair out of place. She often encouraged and motivated others to be their best selves. Her spirit was inspiring and warm. If you ever had the chance to see Rose’s home, you would find countless photos from throughout her life—cherished memories of the smiles, laughter, and joy she shared with others. All the happiness she brought to those around her will be deeply missed. We will miss making beautiful memories with Rose. Her love, warmth, calm demeanor, welcoming personality, and devotion to the Lord will remain forever in our hearts.
