Hey Grandma, Today is your birthday. You would have been 73 years old. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I especially appreciate your contribution to my values and giving spirit. I miss you so much and wish you were here for us to talk and for me to learn and get advice. You are missed terribly and granddad listens to all of our songs that we cleaned to on Saturday mornings daily! Please continue to watch over me with the rest of the ancestors and provide me with strength when I need it. Until we meet again<3-Trinice

My mom, My cousin, My big sister, My mentor, My humble friend, My spiritual adviser. God knew what he was doing when he allowed you to enter into my life with your gentle presence and grace. I was in need of so much guidance you gave. You were always that person who I knew had that unconditional LOVE for me. I had my moment when I wasn't there in the flesh but spiritual you were always close to my heart. You filled a void in me I did not know I had, making me feel more complete as a young lady. You taught how to except LOVE and how to return it back. You gave me a strong family I never knew I had and showed me how to build on the one that I created. You gave an extended family of wonderful people I met because of your presence. The lessons you taught me I will never forget. I can deal with Life Mountains of trouble like they were pebbles of rocks. Because that fighting spirit in you is in me, we are survivors. Now that God has taken you home you are truly a champion of many I hope one day we can speak of this journey and laugh and say we did this together. We I feel a soft breeze, a gentile kiss, a soft touch on my shoulder I know it's you telling me it's Ok we can make, you are important.

Tita could be likened to an eagle,soaring high, wings spread wide with eyes focus on those in need, the broken,lost, hurt, homeless and sick. Family, friend or stranger, if you are in need, she would take you under her wings. Her nest would offer shelter, help and encouragement. When you no longer needed the protection of the nest, you would fly off, but never far from the place you called home. Whether days, months or years, Tita's home will be forever yours, open all times, day/night, always welcoming you in London and Miami, whenever she made her nest. Of course, the head eagle and all the eaglettes became your siblings. That's the way Tita's home was, always giving a helping hand to anyone. I believe that's why she is loved by so many, not only family and friends, but total strangers. Once you know her, you can't help but loving her. Her memory will always be with us.

Grandma was a strong woman she was really sick but she never gave up. She was a fighter, of course everybody loves grandma she is a very funny, cool woman. Bus she's in a better place now. She is our guardian angel she can see us even though we can't see her.

you did not only talk love you showed love so many valued seeds spread throughout the course of thy life here on earth & each brought for fruit in different measures you was first a daughter precious in the eyes of a loving father & mother then a dear sister to loving brothers & sisters a wife of great virtue to a loving and caring husband a mother so caring and ever true that touch so many & impact many other lives for real..you will be missed but never erased from our thought pattern thank you for the unselfish time and sacrifice you gave so cared for me as a young wee boy growing up in a loving caring environment..Now you've gone to thy resting place & within the company of the Lord thy God..

Known to me as "grandma" Valetta is one of the kindest people I have ever known.  She always had a smile on her face and has brightened many a day for myself as well as her family. She will be missed, I am happy to have known her.
