Betty Sullivan Haselmire, age 84, passed away June 19, 2015 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Betty was born on December 29, 1930 in Miami, FL to Sully and Anne Sullivan. She attended the University of Miami. In the 1950s, Betty was a professional water skier at Cypress Gardens. She married William F. Haselmire on April 25, 1959 and they moved Singer Island, FL. Betty taught at Singer Shores Kindergarten during the 1960s, and she loved pottery and painting.
Betty is survived by her husband, William Haselmire and her son, Karl (Debbie Boyer) Haselmire.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1 from 6:00-8:00pm at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 754 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 10:00am at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
