Burt was born January 21, 1939, in Peoria, IL to Shirley and Samuel Friedlander.
His passions included securities trading, golf, and active participation in the Christ Fellowship Church.
Burt is survived by his loving children Steven Friedlander, Gregory and Karen Friedlander, Amy and Robert O'Sullivan, and
six adoring grandchildren who knew him as Poppy Burt, Max, Amanda, Sarah, and Sean, Lilly, and Gwyneth. He is also
survived by his brothers, Geoffrey Friedlander and his wife Sharon, and Michael Friedlander.
Burt grew up in Peoria, Illinois, graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Illinois. Soon after, he began a long and storied career in securities trading.

A memorial service will take place on Monday, June 20 at 10:00am at Christ Fellowship, 5312 Northlake Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County and Broward County.
