Carl Hermann Jensen, 84, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Tenafly, NJ, beloved husband of Renate, died at home in Palm Beach Gardens on June 26, 2013. In addition to his wife of 54 years, Carl is survived by sons, Eric (Lisa) of North Palm Beach and Lars (Wendy) of Falls Church, VA, and grandchildren, Annika, Austin and Tyler.
Immigrating to New York from northern Germany in the 1950s, Carl owned and operated Jensen’s Delicatessens in Brooklyn, and held a seat on the commodities exchange on Wall Street. In his Florida retirement, he was active at the American-German Club and the Amara Shrine in Palm Beach Gardens.
