Carmen Chabrier, 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on August 29, 1933 and was married to Louis Angel Chabrier for 54 years. Carmen was happily and lovingly by his side every day until his death on May 19, 2012.
Carmen’s life work centered around her devotion and care for her family. Carmen loved life and everything exciting about it. Her favorite music was salsa and she loved dancing with her husband.
She is survived by her children, Linda, Louis and Robert; her adoring sister and lifelong friend, Anna; 5 grandchildren, Olivia, Louis, Kevin, Christopher and Hallie and sister in law, Gloria Chabrier.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Rosa and Juan and brothers, Ralph, Andy, and Jose.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for Carmen can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association http://www.alz.org/ or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America http://alzfdn.org/
