Craig Allen Doyle

Craig was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania with his older sister, Sandy. After graduating Westchester University, he moved down to Florida with his parents, James and Thelma. He loved to boat and fish with his Dad and cook with his mom, visiting them often at their condo on Singer Island. This was where Craig met Margaret Marian Mattimore, the love of his life.

Craig and Margo were married on June 9th, 1979. They welcomed a son, James Jason Doyle, and then a daughter, Kelly Moran Doyle. Known as “Big Daddy” by family and friends, Craig was also a known as “Pap Pap” to four beautiful grandchildren: Craig (14), son of Jason and Lauren Doyle, and Haylie (18), Mary (7) and Anna (4), daughters of Kelly and Frank Armentano.

A man of ambition and heart, Craig spent over 40 successful years in the life insurance industry, earning a legendary reputation for his integrity and mentorship. His professional success allowed him to enjoy his passions—fishing, boating, golfing, watching sports and traveling the world. He cherished his time on the water aboard his beautiful boats and took pride in his homes that reflected his warmth.

Craig’s sense of humor and generosity were unmatched. He was deeply philanthropic, supporting organizations that helped children and vets. Those who knew him best will remember his loyalty, his infectious laugh, and the way he made everyone feel like family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Craig’s name to Place of Hope or the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.
