Edward was born in New York, NY to Julius and Clara Bauer on July 5, 1929. He graduated with a degree from NYU. He and his wife Peggy celebrated 62 years of marriage before his passing. Edward retired as partner from the Rollins Insurance Company.
He enjoyed golf, skiing, bridge and the stock market.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Bauer; daughters Stephanie Bauer-Blank (husband Tony) and Leslie Guliano (husband Anthony); granddaughters Chelsea Guliano and Summer Guliano; grandsons Patrick Bauer-Blank and Michael Guliano.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Clara Bauer, and his younger brother, Eric.
