Edward M. Mulvihill born May 8, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY and passed on October 3, 2016 in Juno Beach, FL, older brother to Catherine (Burney) Brown and Genevieve (Sid) Hope. He attended St Francis Prep and on the weekends went to Parsippany to visit his grandparents where in his Jr year met his future wife Elsie. After high school he served 2 years in the Army. When he was discharged he went to work for her parents at Fischer’s Home Bakery in Caldwell, NJ. He then started his own company, Garden State Floor Waxing which they sold when they moved to FL. Ed and Elsie opened the Oar House on Congress Ave, LW, where they both worked for many years.
He fathered 4 children Kathy and Eddie who predeceased him, Maureen (Mike) Meyeres, and Tim (Lori) Mulvihill. He also has 5 grandchildren: Siobhan, Colleen, Anthony, Emily and Timmy and 2 great grandchildren: Anthony and Alexis. Ed and Elsie were married for 61 years.
His company and storytelling will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral Mass Mon Oct 24th at St Paul of the Cross, 11am followed by internment at south Florida National Cemetery.
