Felicia Ann (Parchesky) Reitz, 75, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 13, 2026, due to complications from glioblastoma. Felicia was born on December 6, 1950, in Medway, Massachusetts, where she grew up with her five siblings and graduated from Medway High School. On July 1, 1989, she married the love of her life, William (Bill) Reitz, and the inseparable couple spent many happy years in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
After earning her BA in mathematics from Bridgewater State College (and later her MA), she returned to Medway High, where she taught math for three decades. Mrs. Reitz was respected and loved by her colleagues, who admired her dedication, professionalism, and sense of humor, and by the countless students who were inspired by her passion for math and her sincere affection for and trust in them.
Felicia was passionate about yoga and holistic living, and she enjoyed cooking, interior decorating, and simple pleasures like playing sudoku on the porch. She was always happiest at the beach, and her dream came true in 2009, when she and Bill moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where they enjoyed exploring farmer’s markets, restaurants, museums, and art festivals, and just walking on the beach holding hands.
Felicia Ann Reitz is survived by her husband, William Reitz; her siblings Joseph Parchesky, Catherine (Parchesky) Perkins, and Andrew Parchesky; and her eighteen nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix E. Parchesky and Cecilia Perkins Parchesky, and her brothers Francis Parchesky and Phillip Parchesky.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 24, 2 PM, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta.
Memorial donations may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
