
Frank, "Hokie", 88 of Palm Beach Gardens, FL has flown his last mission, having passed away on November 12, 2011 after a short illness. He served as an Army Air Corps pilot during World War ll. After being shot down over Germany, he was a POW interned in, and escaped from, Switzerland.
He retired as Chairman of EW McClave Inc., Harrison, NJ in 1989 after a long career in lumber sales. He was a member and past president of NJ Lumberman's Association, and also a board member of Springbrook Country Club, Morristown, NJ and Baltusrol Golf Club, Springfield, NJ.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathleen L., daughters Sandra (Peter) Gulotta, Pamela (Jay) Howard, and son, F. John (Jill) Hoch. He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary (Peter) Snieckus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jenna (Tom) Kauth, Ryan (J-Jaye) Hurley, Maura (Jay) Zidziunas, Kate E. Hoch, Benjamin, Christopher, A. Riley, and Johanna Snieckus, 3 great grandchildren, Logan and Katie Kauth, Jackson Hurley, and a brother, Paul A. Hoch.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, November 14 at 10:00AM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Rd., North Palm Beach, FL. The family will greet friends at the church from 9AM.
