

Frank M. Nichols, Jr., 77, peacefully passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018, at the Hospice in the Jupiter Pavilion. He was born on November 13, 1940, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Frank married Gaye (Grace McHugh) on June 24, 1983 and together they celebrated 35 years of marriage.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Gaye; two sons, Paul Tashian and his wife Christine, and David Tashian and his wife Erin; a daughter, LeeAnne Nichols; as well as seven grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Frank Nichols, Sr., and a daughter, Leslie E. Tipton.
Frank graduated from South River High School, South River, NJ, and then went on to attend Pfeiffer University, Misenheimer, NC, earning his Bachelor’s Degree. Twenty years later, he earned his MBA from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ.
Frank was the owner and President of Superior Signal Co., Inc. for over 35 years before his retirement. He was a parishioner at the Royal Poinciana Chapel, past President of Rotary, and long-time member at Seaside Park Yacht Club. He belonged to the Palm Beach Yacht Club and was an avid supporter of the Orchid Foundation. He loved spending time on the “Nickelodeon” and fishing with his grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 12:00 p.m., at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home in North Palm Beach, FL. Following the service the family wishes to invite everyone to join them in a celebration of Frank’s life.
