Joshua Patrick Edwards

Joshua Patrick Edwards, age 33, came into our lives on January 16, 1980. He was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach. He passed away in a tragic automobile accident on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Jupiter, Florida.

He attended the Wee Wisdom Preschool, The Progressive School, North Palm Beach Elementary School, The Benjamin School, Cardinal Newman, Jupiter High School, and graduated from Dwyer High School. He attended Palm Beach Community College and The Culinary Institute at Hyde Park in New York.

He loved his family, friends, cooking, golf and his dogs. He leaves behind so many people who love him--His father Gary Edwards, mother Patricia Edwards, his sister Jackie Byers and her husband Rick, his grandmother Germain Edwards, aunts Barbara Smollin and Pam Gilbert, uncles Lee Gilbert, Dr. Al Smollin, Tom Edwards and Carl Edwards, his niece Lauran Byers and nephew Justin Byers, his cousins, Andrew, Lauren, and Kathryn Gilbert, Tyler Schmaling, Brad and Kathy Hummel, and Jean and Connie Gordon, Dau and Dawn Edwards, the Kuoppala family and best friend and soul mate Opal Ruthardt and many friends for whose support we are eternally grateful and blessed.

He is in God's loving arms, and the arms of his deceased grandparents Pat and Dottie Gordon, Ralph Edwards, and Florence Burns Uncle Ken Edwards and favorite great-aunt Ruth Mytton, and all who have gone before.

We will always remember his handsome face, charming way and all that he has meant to us. God bless our son.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with a Memorial Service starting at 3:00pm on Saturday June 15, 2013 at Howard-Price Funeral Home 754 US Hwy One North Palm Beach.
