Thinking about you today, Katrina. Can't believe it's been 3 years. To me, you're still at your house in Lost Tree, cooking something great in the kitchen and listening to Rod Stewart or Julio Iglesias. Always missing you. I'll be getting some flowers for you today. Sending love to you where you are.

Katrina, I can't believe it's been two years since you've been gone. I miss you more than words can say, and think about you all the time. How I wish I could drive over to your house and chat with you in the kitchen like we often did. You and Bud, Chappy, Nina, and Mandy mean the world to me and will always stay with me and will never be forgotten.

I’m so very sorry for your loss.  My mom worked for Katrina many years ago in lost tree village.
My mom & dad were Michael & Mary Fortunato.
I hope her 3 children were there to greet her.  May she RIP.

I'm incredibly sad and have so many emotions about this news about Katrina. We practically grew up with her and her kids every summer, and so admired her beauty and talent. So many memories of spending time at her houses in Lost Tree, with her cooking in the kitchen with Julio Iglesias or Rod Stewart in the background. She was gorgeous and so cool, but also so kind and down to earth. Katrina, Chappy, Nina, and Mandy were major parts of our lives, and we love them dearly. She was so lovely and amazing. I pray they're all together now. Thank you Maria and Josh for all you've done. I'm so glad Katrina had wonderful grandchildren to cherish. 

So 2 weeks before Genesee was born, we visited my grandma (she was in hospice at that time too and we were afraid she was passing then after not eating/drinking for 3 days). 
As soon as we walked into the room, my grandma kept talking about seeing the "beautiful baby girl that was born at the hospital"

(Up until this point, she thought the baby was a boy)

We didn't find out the gender beforehand, so it was very surprising that she was saying all that (meanwhile we were convinced that we were having a boy and that it would be a home birth). 

After Genesee was born, we took her to see grandma. As soon as we walked in, she asked if it was a girl or boy. I said girl and she said "I knew it."

We are certain that God gave her that vision beforehand and we are so happy she got to meet her 1st great grandchild.
