

Mary Diane Curvino, age 91, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Mary was born on July 4, 1934, in Hoboken, New Jersey and was the only child of the late Edward and Mary (Rodano) McFeely.
Mary graduated from Fort Lee High School in 1951, where she met the love of her life, the late Salvatore J. Curvino. They married in 1956 and shared 60 wonderful years together before his passing in 2016.
A devoted wife and mother, Mary moved to South Carolina after graduation while Sal fulfilled his ROTC and Air Force obligation. They later settled in Connecticut, where they raised their family. Mary was an exceptional homemaker, creating a warm, loving home for their five children. When her children were older she worked as a bookkeeper and office manager. Mary and Sal moved to Florida in the late 1970’s, returned to Connecticut in the mid-1980’s, and eventually settled back in Florida following Sal’s retirement in the 1990’s.
Mary enjoyed playing bridge throughout her entire adult life, and in recent years played online almost daily. She also loved in person games of mahjong games with a close group of local friends. Mary cherished outings to live theatre, and she delighted in dinners with family and friends. In her younger years, she participated in bowling and golf leagues.
A world traveler, Mary explored many countries with Sal, including the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Italy, Australia, Taiwan, among others. She especially enjoyed ocean cruising and, in 2004, treated the entire family to a memorable Caribbean cruise.
Mary’s greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and their spouses, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary was a devoted Catholic and parishioner at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola.
She is survived her five children; Edward Curvino and wife Barbara of Canton, Connecticut, Kathleen McElman and husband Michael of Center Barnstead, New Hampshire, Jean Kohrs and husband James of Alpharetta, Georgia, Steven Curvino of Cordova, Tennessee, and William Curvino and wife Abigail of Atlanta, Georgia.
Mary also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Kristin, Ashley (Mandisa), Andrew (Vivian), Melissa, Ryan (Carly), Kathryn (Jordan), Mary Katherine (Matthew), Amanda (Daniel), Elizabeth, Justine (Christian), William. Great grandchildren; Evan, Jackson, Mason, Hayden, Oliver, Grayson and Campbell.
She is also survived by cousins, grand-nieces, grand nephews, and many dear friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00pm-5:00pm., Friday, November 21, 2025 at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach.
Funeral Services will take place in the chapel at The Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens on Saturday, November 22 at 10:00am.
Those wishing to honor Mary’s memory, in lieu of flowers, are invited to make contributions to a charity of their choice.
