Richard was born on August 7, 1956 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL. He grew up on Flamingo Terrace in Palm Beach Gardens, FL., and graduated from Jupiter High School in 1975. He worked as a telephone operator with AT&T for 43 years, until he retired in 2017. He enjoyed bowling on the weekends and attending baseball games; his favorite team was the Boston Red Sox.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard D. Andrews, Sr.; and is survived by his mother, Alice Andrews; brother Robert Andrews; sister Rosemarie (Robert) Cain; nephews Robert Jr. (Ruth), Ryan, Russell; niece Rosemary Cain; grandnephews Grant and Drew Cain; his partner Dennis Winters, Jr.; two godsons, Gabriel and Max Bagnola; and his grandmother, Caroline Prichard.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10, 2018 for a viewing from 10:30-11 am with a funeral service to follow at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408.
Immediately following the funeral service, there will be a graveside service at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
