Ruth Howell

Age 89, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away with her family at her side on November 12, 2011. Ruth was born on August 3, 1922, in Riviera Beach, Florida, to parents Desmond and Marian Moree. She enjoyed her youth with eight brothers and sisters. She retired from the Palm Beach County School Board Transportation Department after many years of dedicated service as a bus driver and transportation coordinator. She was a quilting enthusiast, avid bowler and loved to play bingo. Ruth also was a long-time member of the Lake Park Fire Department Auxiliary. However, Ruth’s true passion was her family. Her memory will be cherished.

Ruth was predeceased by her adoring husband of fifty five years, Amos. She is survived by her daughter, Marion Graham, grandchildren; Robert L. Sullivan (Kristina), Sandie Sullivan (Michael), great grandchildren Josh, Ashley and Haley, sister; Lillian Hargis, brother Desmond Moree Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family at the Howard Price Funeral Home, 754 US. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL on Monday, November 14, from 3:00-5:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 15, at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta.
