Born in Palm Beach Gardens, he was the son of Richard and Mahala (Potter) Ernst of Brooksville.
He was the director of Recreational Therapy for The Waterford of Juno Beach, FL. He received a BS degree from the University of Florida where he was also a member of the Gator Marching Band.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Richard and Mahala Ernst of Brooksville and his son, Cameron James Ernst and sisters: Lara wife of Stephane Labastie of Seffner, FL and Jennifer wife of Brian Smith of Marietta, GA. He is the uncle of Etienne and Bastien Labastie and Andrew and William Smith. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Suzanne Bayer of Palm Beach Gardens.
Friends may visit the family at the Howard-Price Funeral Home, 754 US Hwy. 1, North Palm Beach, Fl., 33408 on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 717 Prosperity Farms Rd., North Palm Beach, FL 33408 on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 4:00pm.
