William Preston Edmonds

Passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 76. William was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 28, 1945. He graduated from Palm Beach High School and continued on to the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. William married the love of his life for over 54 years, Janine Edmonds on June 10, 1967. William worked as a Turbine Engineer with Pratt & Whitney for 33 years. During his tenure at Pratt & Whitney, he was awarded many patents and received multiple awards. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and gardening. He loved muscle cars and jet planes, bird watching, chess and playing pool. He was a marksman in shooting with perfect vision.

William will be deeply missed by his wife Janine, daughter Sarah and her husband Jason LaPoint, grandchildren Jared, Emily, and Leeah LaPoint; brothers Lee (Debbie) Edmonds, Richard (Junia) Edmonds, David Edmonds, and Robert (Lucia) Edmonds, 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Mildred Edmonds.
