We remember Alex McIver who left us too early on October 9th 2024 at the age of 74.
Alex is survived by her sister Julia and family in Terrace, BC and her brother John in Oldham, UK.
Alex will also be missed by her work family at Lions Gate Hospital where Alex worked in the lab for 40 years.
Alex was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness and has left an incredible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Alex had an outgoing personality and a heart of gold.
Alex enjoyed history and different cultures and had a keen mind for reading. A ferocious reader and loved learning new things.
In her spare time, Alex taught Tai Chi at the Taoist Tai Chi Society.
In lieu of flowers please give donations to the WildLife Bird Sanctuary who were able to rehome her beloved African Grey parrot, Omar.
