

Andreina Mary Mauro passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on March 12, 1940, in Italy and immigrated to Canada as a young girl, where she built a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and deep faith.
Andreina was predeceased by her beloved parents, Giovanni and Maria, and her cousin Giancarlo Manzin.
She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Sandy Vogt and Linda Mauro; Sandy’s husband, Kelly Vogt; and her cherished grandchildren, Tiana Vogt (Chase) and Ella Vogt. She is also survived by her sister, Claudia Piccinin, Claudia’s husband Gabriel, her niece Andrea, nephews Mark and Rob, and their families, as well as her cousins Andrea Manzin and Ezio Manzin. She will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
A devoted and hardworking woman, Andreina worked for many years at Woodward’s, and later with the Canada Revenue Agency, taking great pride in her work and independence. Outside of work, she found joy in time spent with friends and family, traveling, enjoying nature walks, reading, and the occasional trip to try her luck gambling.
Above all, Andreina will be remembered for her strength and the love she shared with her family.
She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
A memorial service for Andreina will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026, 2pm at First Memorial Funeral Services & Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver.
