Anke was truly one of the most caring people you could meet. She was always concerned about fairness and equality, especially for those people who were in an unfortunate position in life or suffering.
Anke also had an enduring love for animals and originally planned on being a Veterinarian, then chose to settle on work in banking, due to practical reasons.
Eventually, she changed careers and worked for Vancouver City Animal Services before finally taking a job in Applications at BC Housing, which she found very fulfilling.
Most important to her always, was her family.
She will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
