Beverly, “Joanne” Wolf went home to Jesus July 12, 2024 at the age of “88”.
Joanne was born Belva Marie Donavan in Peoria, Illinois USA. As a very young child she was adopted by Irma and Daniel Rogers. She is deceased by two sisters and one brother.
Joanne met the love of her life Arthur Edward Wolf known to most as “Doc”. They were married December 22, 1961and immigrated to Canada on September 28, 1965 where they then started L.I.F.E. Bible College of Canada.
Joanne graduated from L.I.F.E. Bible College Los Angeles, California in 1959, was ordained in 1961. In 1966 received her Bachelor of Theology from L.I.F.E Bible College Canada.
On September 06, 2013 she became a Canadian Citizen.
Joanne was a dedicated teacher, crafter, seniors pastor as well as held many volunteer positions. She was also a “wicked” scrabble player.
One highlight of her life was being grandma to Becky, Brianna and Brady Black.
Throughout her life she held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 21, 2024 11:00 am at Kingsway Foursquare Church at 4061 Kingsway Burnaby, BC.
