passing.
Bud was born in Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary as a young adult where
he met Patricia, his wife and best friend of 56 years. With his family, Bud moved
throughout western Canada before settling in North Vancouver. He had a long and
successful career in marketing/sales and later owned, in partnership with his wife, West
Coast Designed Windows. Bud was active in the community through the Rotary Club of
North Vancouver and enjoyed extensive travel and vacations with his family. All that
knew Bud will agree that he took great pride in being a kind-hearted, loving husband,
father, brother, grandfather and friend. He valued family above all else.
Bud will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife Pat, his daughters Cheryl, Carolynn and Leslie,
sons-in-law James, David and Stephen, and his grandchildren Miranda, Becca, Dylan,
Chad, McConnell, Quinten, and Anna. He is survived by his sister Joyce, two
sisters-in-law Joy and Susan, a brother-in-law Gene, a niece, three nephews, many
other extended family members and countless cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations made in Bud’s name to the North Shore Hospice and
Palliative Care Centre or any charity of your choice.
