With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Erika (Enriqueta) Elisa Cranston, who left us peacefully on June 27, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by her devoted daughters, Brenda and Bonnie.
Born in Eldorado, Argentina, Erika lived a life full of creativity, compassion, and quiet strength. She loved her family fiercely and without limits. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren — each of whom carries her love forward in their own lives.
Erika’s passions included cooking, sewing, cross-stitching, drawing, and painting — each a reflection of her generous spirit and artistic soul. Her home was always filled with warmth, the delicious scent of a home-cooked meal, and the feeling that you were deeply loved.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wayne Cranston, in April 2024. Erika will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Brenda (Ike) and Bonnie (Dean); her grandchildren Katrina (Brian), Taylor (Nicole), Jordan (Paige), and Elisa (Brenden); and her cherished great-grandchildren Tyler, Addison, Willow, Alaina, Ivy, Hayes, and Ruby.
A memorial service to celebrate Erika’s life will be held on July 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Langley Golf Course, 9782 McKinnon Crescent, Langley Twp, BC.
