It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, uncle and friend, Gord. After a brave 3 year battle with cancer he passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026 surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Antonella; daughters, Samantha and Jenna; in-laws, Bruno and Maria; sister in-law, Anthea (Richard); niece and nephew, Victoria and Luke; extended family and numerous friends. Predeceased by his loving mother, Jean P. Sanders; and brother, Randy G. Sanders. He will be remembered for his giant presence on the soccer pitch, the baseball field, and everywhere his passion for sports and competition took him. He believed that life was best measured not by possessions, but by the lasting memories created through shared experiences, meaningful moments, and time spent with the people he loved most.
Following a private Funeral Service, the family warmly invites you to join them in a Celebration of Life at the Riverway Clubhouse on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 12:00-3:00pm, where stories and memories will be shared in honour of the remarkable person he was.
