Born October 1, 1937, in Hastings, England. Survived by her beloved daughter Gillian, son-in-law Christian, and grandchildren Jordan and Hannah. Predeceased by her husband, Gerry and her parents, Leslie and Cicely Englefield. Janet was an active member of St. Catherine's Capilano Anglican church in North Vancouver. In 2011 the parish honoured Janet by nominating her to receive the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster.
We will miss her deeply. We were lucky to have some great conversations in her final days, with lots of laughter and love. We are so grateful to her dear friends for holding her in love and prayer through this time, and for supporting our family.
A celebration of Janet's life will be planned at St Catherine’s Capilano in the coming weeks.
