June Barbara Campbell

July 28, 1934 – May 4, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of June

Campbell announces her passing on May 4,

2018. Beloved mom to Suzanne (Rand) and

Jeannine (Greg) and treasured “Nana” to

Austin, Alicia, Lucia and Coco. June will be

lovingly remembered by her nephews and

nieces, whom she adored: Scot, Flyn

(Margaret), Steve (Elaine) Cathy (Stephen),

and their children. June was predeceased by

her two sisters and brothers and her niece,

Kim. Born in Toronto, June graduated with

Honours from Humberside Collegiate and

then moved to the west coast and married

Robert Campbell, the father of her daughters.

June and Bob enjoyed many adventurous and

happy summers with Suzanne and Jeannine

at Whistler with many friends. Following her

retirement from The Vancouver School

Board, she loved long walks with her dogs and

her good friends at Spanish Banks. June

possessed a remarkably quick wit and had a

deep appreciation of silly fun. June’s

Grandchildren were everything to her - no

Halloween will ever be the same without

Nana’s crazy costume transformations. She

loved to laugh and we loved to laugh with her.

She w i l l always be cherished as an

exceptionally loyal, thoughtful friend, and a

secondmomto many. A celebration of June’s

life will take place May 30; those interested in
